(Dan Tri) – A pair of Russian military aircraft Su-34 and Su-25 carry out combat cover tactics on the Eastern front, helping to minimize the risk of being shot down on the front lines.

Russian newspaper Izvestia said the Russian military is using Su-25 and Su-34 aircraft in pairs in combat missions in Donbass.
According to Izvestia, the fact that two aircraft operate in pairs to support each other is very important in the context of Ukraine deploying electronic warfare complexes.
Furthermore, a follower aircraft also supports the attacking aircraft and protects it from above when the attacking aircraft descends to destroy ground targets.
According to Eurasian Times, in more than a year of launching a military campaign in Ukraine, Russia’s Su-25 Grach attack has faced many damages, because this aircraft is especially vulnerable when performing ground attack missions.
According to the site specializing in tracking weapons on the Oryx battlefield, Russia may have lost 28 Su-25s, a relatively large number compared to other aircraft, because this aircraft is regularly deployed on surface attack missions.
However, according to Eurasian Times, recently, the number of Russian Su-25s shot down has decreased sharply.
`Russia now deploys better tactics, so losses of the Su-25 are now very rare,` said military expert Vijainder Thakur.
According to Mr. Thakur, the Russian Su-25 fights with the cover of multi-role fighters Su-35S and Su-30SM, in addition to the Su-34.

The Su-34 Fullback is one of Russia’s most advanced fighter jets, with a range of 966 km and a weapons load of 12 tons, including bombs and ground attack and air-to-air missiles.
Because both the Su-25 and Su-34 are attack aircraft, they are more suitable for joint combat than the multi-role fighters mentioned above, according to Eurasian Times.
The Su-34, nicknamed the `flying tank`, is one of the top fighter-bombers in Russia’s arsenal.
The Su-34’s impressive stealth ability is also a point that makes this aircraft a force in the sky.
