(Dan Tri) – Ukrainian authorities accused Russian suicide UAVs of attacking the port city of Odessa.

Russian suicide UAV attacks Odessa
In a statement released on April 19, Mr. Yuri Kruk, head of the military administration of the Odessa region of Ukraine, accused the Russian military of conducting a suicide drone attack (UAV).
According to Mr. Kruk, the attack took place on the night of April 18 and early morning of April 19 with the participation of Shahed-131/136 suicide UAVs produced by Iran.
Local authorities said quick response forces were immediately at the scene to fix the problem.
Russia continues to attack cities in Eastern and Southern Ukraine
Previously, on April 18, Mr. Vadym Liakh, mayor of Sloviansk city in Eastern Ukraine, accused Russia of continuing to launch another converted S-300 cruise missile and many Shahed suicide UAVs into the city.

According to the Mayor of Sloviansk, the Russian attack caused serious damage to a 5-story building, 7 houses, a security company, a medical facility, an entertainment center and many cars.
On the same day, Mr. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the military administration of the Kherson region of Ukraine, confirmed that Kherson city center had become the target of shelling by the Russian army.
Accordingly, many rounds of artillery shells were fired toward the city’s central market area, killing at least one person and injuring six people.
Recently, the Russian military has regularly conducted raids with converted S-300 air defense missiles, multiple rocket launchers and increased-range howitzers against many targets in Ukraine.
To face this problem, Russia is said to have planned to produce more Kh-50 air-to-ground cruise missiles.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the above information.
