On March 8, the Ukrainian Security Agency posted on Facebook a video showing the moment an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the country’s military dodged a missile to approach and destroy the `thermobaric fire god` TOS.

`Members of task force Alpha burned down a Russian TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy thermobaric system at the moment it opened fire… We will continue our efforts until complete victory is achieved`

However, the agency did not specify the time and location of the attack.

TOS-1A (nicknamed Solntsepyok or `solar fire`) is an improved version of the TOS-1 Buratino multiple launch rocket system.

Since 2001, the improved version TOS-1A began to be put into operation, with the lowest and longest ranges at 400m and 6km respectively.

TOS-1 and TOS-1A are equipped with chemical, biological and nuclear battalions of the Russian army.

According to data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, since the conflict broke out, the country’s army has destroyed about 488 Russian multiple launch rocket systems.

Director of the US National Intelligence Agency Avril Haines said on March 8 that it will be difficult for Russia to compensate for losses to expand attacks and control territory in Ukraine this year, especially in the context of the national industry.

Western intelligence sources recently said that China is considering providing lethal weapons to Russia.

However, Beijing denied this accusation, and announced that it would continue to strengthen its role as an intermediary to resolve the conflict in Ukraine through diplomatic and political measures.
